Some candidates have submitted introductions explaining why they wish to be MEF Director, which you can read here.

Voting will take place on the LEARN website. The votes will be counted and if any candidate has 50%+1 of the vote, they win automatically.

Voting will take place at vote.feds.ca using the IRV system. This means that voters will, instead of selecting a single candidate, rank their candidates in order of preference (first choice 1, second choice 2, etc). The first-choice votes will be counted first, and if any candidate has 50%+1 of the vote, they win automatically. Otherwise, the last-place candidate is dropped and their votes get transferred to the next preference on their ballot. This is repeated until a candidate gets 50%+1, at which point he or she is declared the winner.
