MEF Director
Nominations for the Fall 2012 MEF Director are now being accepted.
The deadline is Friday, March 23rd, 2012.

Funding Proposals
Proposals for the Winter 2012 term are now being accepted. Proposals are due on Friday, March 2nd.

Funding Council
Applications for the Winter 2012 Funding Council are now being accepted. The deadline is Monday, March 5th, 2012.

Refunds
The refund period for Winter 2012 ends on January 20th. Please note that we are unable to refund contributions made in prior or future terms.

The Professional Development Fund finances students taking part in conferences, workshops, etc.

Funding Proposals
Standard funding proposals
Funding proposals are accepted each term. The deadline for funding proposals is typically in the third month of the term and will be listed in the news sidebar on the MEF website.
Online funding proposals: Funding Proposals must now be submitted online. You can submit funding proposals any time before the deadline for funding proposals; supporting material can be attached in .TXT or .PDF format. Once you have submitted your funding proposal, you can log back into the funding proposal website and update your proposal and upload any additional attachments. Proposals from previous terms can also be viewed and downloaded. Click on the button below to access the online funding proposals application. Any questions can be directed to the MEF Director at mefcom@student.math.uwaterloo.ca or during Office Hours in M3 1004.

Hard-copy funding proposals: The funding proposals are also available in .PDF and .DOC formats. The application forms are available below, and may be submitted either in hard copy or via email.
Professional Development Fund
The Professional Development Fund finances students taking part in conferences, workshops, etc. Individual students may apply by filling out an application form and submitting the completed form either by email to mefcom@student.math.uwaterloo.ca or under the MEF Office door (M3 1004). There is no deadline for submitting individual funding requests; however, if there is insufficient time to process the request the proposal may be deferred to the following term. Groups of students applying jointly to a conference should apply for funding using the standard funding proposal above.
